In this book Silas strives to point out the parallels between religion and spiritualism. People are under the impression that because we have Spiritualist Churches we are a religion.Silas however is at pains to point out that Spirituality is a way of life, in the centre run by Colin and Eileen they welcome everyone irrespective of what religion they follow.

Jesus was the greatest medium whoever walked the Earth. He raised people from the dead, healed people preached love, tolerance and gave teachings from his father within the land of spirit and yet, today, some religions would have you believe that this is the work of the devil and that the "hereafter" doesn’t exist. How both he and I feel for them as they have nothing to look forward to. How wonderful then must it be when they realize we were telling the truth all along!

May I share with you this prayer written by Silas for those of us on the Earth Plane.

Where there is deception, let there be truth
Where there is darkness, may there be light
Where there is sadness, may we hear laughter
Where there is corruption may the people responsible be made accountable
Where there is despair, may there be hope
Where there is hate, may it be replaced with love
May the Earth’s scars be healed with less pollution
May enlightenment bring knowledge
May knowledge bring with it the realization that all is not lost
And may God bless each and every one of you.
Amen.

To-date I have written a series of three Poetry Books called The Power of Thought. It is interesting to see how the progression both in depth of meaning and the length of the actual poems has developed from that very first poem.

These are available from [BLANK] at £4 per book or £10.00 for all three plus postage and packaging of £ U.K. mainland only. Cheques or P O’s made out to :[BLANK]

Here for you is the question I asked and the answer that I received from my Spirit Guide White Hawk who is in charge of the more light hearted and emotional material.

WHAT IS LOVE?
We all see love as a golden glow
But where does it come from I want to know?
Love is a feeling that comes from within
It’s there in abundance for our kith and kin
It’s eternal, it’s sharing and giving
Whether we’ve passed or whether we’re living
It’s there in the feeling that Mum has for child
It’s an emotion that’s ever so wild
It’s concern for fellow men and preservation of life
If it were practiced there would be no strife
In this world there would be peace
And war and fighting would all cease
Starvation and famine would come to an end
And our fellow man would become our best friend
The animal kingdom in us put their trust
But are often abused and treated so ill
It's a wonder that they believe in us still
And between the two worlds still it survives
With our loved ones still showing concern for our lives
If we opened our hearts and let them come in
This world would be a world with far less sin
For those who have gone before have learnt that love is unselfish
Means much more in the world today
But will we listen to what they say?
If we could give a moment to listen to their message of love so clear
This would become a world full of love and serene
Where happiness and joy would reign supreme
